High risk manufactured water systems (HRMWS) such as cooling towers and warm water systems must be registered with Council. You can register online using our

Proper maintenance and water treatment greatly decreases the chance of Legionella being in a HRMWS and therefore reduces the risk of Legionnaires' Disease.

Supported residential facilities (SRFs)
A Supported Residential Facility (SRF) is a facility where residential accommodation is provided together with personal care services - excluding nursing homes.
The Supported Residential Facilities Act and Regulations set out standards that protect people living in this kind of accommodation. Environmental Health Officers are responsible for licencing these facilities.
