Hazardous waste

Hazardous waste such as garden chemicals, insect repellents, cleaners, automotive products, home improvement products, acids, asbestos and fluorescent light globes cannot be placed in your red-lid general waste bin.

Disposing of hazardous waste correctly allows for some or all of the resources to be recovered and reused. It’s also better for the environment.
