Lyn Petrie is officially appointed to the Drumminor Ward after a recount of the votes cast in the 2022 election.

City of Tea Tree Gully Mayor, Marijka Ryan, thanked the new councillor for stepping into the vacancy following Cr Damian Wyld’s resignation because of ill health.

“I welcome Lyn, and congratulate her on her return to Council,” she said.

“I look forward to her making a positive contribution in the chamber and to our community”.

Lyn will represent the Drumminor Ward with Cr Kimberley Drozdoff, which includes the suburbs of Modbury North, Ridgehaven and Redwood Park.

Lyn will be sworn in at an upcoming Council meeting.
