Precincts Design Access and Inclusion

Everyone should be able to move around the community in an equal and dignified manner, whether it is for business, work, education, social or leisure activities.

Council is committed to following ‘universal design’ principles, which guide the design of environments to minimise access difficulties and be inclusive to as many people as possible. Council will continue to go above standard compliance to enable residents to enjoy community buildings, playgrounds and parks.

Advice may be sought from Councils DAIP (Disability Access and Inclusion Panel) as required. All enquiries should be directed to Councils Community Inclusion Officer.
