The Golden Grove Arts Centre is a flexible multipurpose venue available for a wide range of arts and cultural activities. It has a performing arts theatre, dressing rooms, foyer with kiosk/bar service area, meeting and rehearsal room, with disabled access and off street parking.
The perfect place for your next performance, conference or event, the 341 seat proscenium arch theatre is well suited for a wide variety of hire events and is open 7 days a week. Fully retractable seating enables the theatre to transform into a flat floor configuration, suitable for cabarets and expos.
Golden Grove Arts Centre predominantly operates as a venue for hire, and as a presenter, producer and co-producer of performances, working with local and national amateur and professional artists and arts organisations.
The theatre provides a warm intimate atmosphere, popular with both performers and audiences. The theatre has a versatile layout and is suitable for a wide variety of performances, ranging from musical theatre, drama, dance and music performances.

Venue hire price includes exclusive access to the Arts Centre, including the theatre, dressing rooms and foyer from 8am to 11.30pm.
- Arts Centre standard theatre hire - $960 full day or $580 half day - maximum 4 hours

Additional fees
Theatre technicians are required for hire when sound and lighting are used. The following fees apply:
- Monday to Saturday - $75 per hour - minimum 3 hour shift
- Sunday - $90 per hour - minimum 4 hour shift
- Public holiday - $105 per hour - minimum 4 hour shift
- Dance competition set up - $225 including tarkett and backdrop
Access outside of operating hours, the following fees apply:
- Contractor unlock and lock - $80 each
