Swing towards new playgrounds
Endless fun is on the way for kids, with work to begin soon on replacing four older local playgrounds.
Whinnen Reserve (St Agnes), Coulls Reserve (Highbury), Elysium Reserve (Wynn Vale) and Pinewood Reserve (Golden Grove) are all on the list for exciting new playground equipment replacements by early 2027.
The playgrounds were designed with the community for the community, thanks to those who had their say during community engagement for each playground.
There will also be plenty of places to watch the action at each reserve, with new picnic settings, plus additional seating and park benches to be installed.
And the good news keeps on coming, with more new playgrounds and playground upgrades on the way next financial year, including Maxlay Reserve.
