Changing Places toilets
Changing Places toilets have specialised equipment to lift a person out of a wheelchair.
These toilets are only accessible to people with a disability and who have a MLAK key.
Locations
- Civic Park, next to Library entrance. Available 24 hours 7 days per week.
- Edinburgh Reserve inclusive playspace. Available 24 hours 7 days per week.
- Harpers Field Community Hub. Available during opening hours.
- Modbury Hospital - reception foyer. Available 24 hours 7 days per week.

ID or your Library card is required to borrow a MLAK key from:
- Civic Centre reception during business hours
- Tea Tree Gully Library during opening hours
Return the key as soon as you have finished. Failure to do so will incur a replacement fee.
Keys can be returned into the Library returns chute if the Library or Civic Centre are closed.
Our Changing Places facilities include:
- accessible toilet plan
- CHS STELLAR 440F fixed ceiling hoist with lifting capacity of 200kg. *Users will need to bring their own compatible sling
- adult size change table with maximum capacity of 200kg
- hand basin and hand dryer
- automatic sliding entry door for ease of access.

This is a swing for people in wheelchairs and is accessed with a MLAK key.
A MLAK key can be borrowed from Holden Hill Community Centre during opening hours.
