You’ll explore leadership in everyday life and in bigger roles.

As part of the program, you’ll represent young people in the city. You’ll have chances to share your ideas on decisions that affect young people, attend council events and even plan and run one yourself.

You will:

• hear from inspiring guest speakers and experts
• get support from council staff and past participants who will mentor you
• enjoy fun games, activities, and of course, snacks each week
• go on exciting excursions to try new things and step out of your comfort zone
• plan and host the Youth Achievement Awards, celebrating young people in the community
• volunteer at events.
