Hillcott Ward update

Hope everyone enjoyed a holy and joyous Easter.

Thank you residents for attending the Hillcott Ward Neighbourhood Chat at Jubilee Community Centre.

It was great to hear so much positive feedback about the recent development of new access pathways.

Thank you also to Minister Blair Boyer MP, the Member for Wright, for a grant of $490,000 towards the upgrade of Maxlay Reserve.

This will be a big help establishing the three dog parks planned for this area, plus a playspace and new trees.

Clean-up of Elysium Drive has commenced, with old and dead brush being removed.

New plantings will appear along with an upgraded irrigation system.

In addition, works are underway to upgrade Elysium Reserve playspace and irrigation system.

Anzac Day morning was well attended with many veterans marching and families who came to remember and honour those who served.

Thank you to the Tea Tree Gully RSL for hosting such a large event and making everyone feel welcome.
