The Holden Hill Precinct has undergone a major revitalisation, with a coordinated series of streetscape, open space and pathway upgrades designed to improve safety, accessibility and neighbourhood amenity.
These works form part of Council’s long‑term commitment to enhancing walkability, increasing tree canopy and creating welcoming public spaces for the community.
- Upgrades across Valiant Road, Avocet Street and Lowan Street include new concrete footpaths (where possible), infill tree planting (where possible), wayfinding signage and improvements to verge areas.
- Malcolm Reserve received a footpath connecting the road to the basketball court, additional recreation elements and new park furniture.
- Alvis Reserve and McKinley Reserve received new tree planting and picnic settings.
- O-Bahn Linear Park Corridor enhancements include upgraded paths and improved wayfinding signage at key intersections.
Together, these projects will deliver a greener, safer and more connected Holden Hill for residents and visitors.
