As part of the planned upgrade of North East Road from Church Street through to Haines Road, Council has been working towards the beautification of North East Road.
The project works include removal of stobie poles and undergrounding of the powerlines. SA Power Network project managing this.
Additional upgrades commenced in 2025 and include tree planting, streetscaping, reserve improvements, public art and a wombat crossing.
