Civic Park, Modbury

Situated right in the heart of Modbury lies Civic Park. A sweeping, beautifully landscaped park of leisure which attracts people from all over the City of Tea Tree Gully and beyond.

At the lower end of the park you will find the shaded playground zones. Three different playgrounds packed with a range of fun and unique equipment. Designed to entertain as well as challenge children's development.

With ample seating for parents to relax while the children play, it's a perfect place for birthday parties and picnics. A canopy of tree cover shelters the park benches, table and seating area so you can enjoy a meal using one of the multiple BBQ grills. Equipped with several toilet facilities as well as a pergola in the centre of the park for additional shade and shelter.

At the top end of the park, enjoy a grand view of the Adelaide hills beyond the Modbury skyline. A fantastic spot to throw down a picnic blanket and watch the sunset over our fantastic city.

Civic Park is also the location for many of Council's major events.

Can I hold an event at Civic Park?

Small groups of up to 50 people are welcome to use Civic Park, no bookings are required. Please be mindful of other park users, no fencing is permitted.
